Medical care for people in dangerous places. All over the planet.

Some of their doctors have been killed by terrorists, natural disasters, and even drone strikes. Tough. Smart. Trusted.

They’re legit.

Active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies.

So it’s a generic all-purpose kind of charity that has super-high ratings and a great reputation.

Nice logo.

Well, if you’ve never heard of the Red Cross, then you live under a rock.

One of those famous charities everyone knows about. Yeah, their executives make too much money, but wait ‘til you see what a bunch of greedy tech executives are making.

Still, this is not a bad choice and does make a difference.

Runs engineering projects around the world, not only in the United States.

Looks like most of their projects are for “water supply”. They also do engineering projects for structures, sanitation, agriculture, civil works, and energy.

Basically, they do mathematics, and their math projects make the world safer. No one should have to drink poopy water.

You donate money, then GiveDirectly transfers that money through poor people’s phones. People bank with their phones!

Even a small donation can help a poor mom in a rural country feed her kid. Highly rated. Good choice. “Here’s some cash, poor lady.” Done.

Checked out their YouTube channel and saw how they were doing oversight and keeping track of where the money goes. Villagers in Kenya get follow-up phone calls from the capital, Nairobi. Legit.

A lot of people would go hungry without them.

“When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team … uses a network of local restaurants, food trucks, or emergency kitchens ...

… support regional economies, WCK prioritizes purchasing local ingredients to cook with or distribute directly to families in need.”

Voice actors run a Dungeons & Dragons online show.

Their charity raises money and then gives it to other charities, all listed on their website. Look at those before donating. None of the money goes to the actors or their show.

CRF donates to poor Indian school projects, child poverty initiatives, and things like that.

You could always just donate to the charities themselves, but Crit Role Foundation raises awareness of those other ones. I would never have heard of those other charities without this one.

They sponsor poor people, which means they provide money so a poor village can build toilets, cover an open water well, put up street lights, and things like that.

They also sponsor individual children.

“Unbound partners with families living in poverty on their path to become self-sufficient and fulfill their inherent potential.”

Education Charities

LOOK at how this charity is designed.

You browse projects teachers are running. You decide which projects to donate to. That’s it.

Imagine if every other charity was this transparent. The donor has WAY more control over what their money is doing! Other charities need to study this one, and experiment with this approach.

Imagine if a food charity listed food items to buy.

Imagine if a medical charity listed individual surgeries (not realistic, since so many surgeries are needed immediately and can’t be audience-funded.)

Imagine if an agricultural charity let farmers post their farm projects. Choosing is more satisfying to some people.

Charities. Powered by Money. And Love.

But Mostly Money 💲💲💲💸

100% of donations go to the charities you choose. Thank you. Thank you for giving.

Disclaimer: None of this money goes to Daniel. Some affiliate links might alert charities that you came from here first. Daniel doesn’t get the money, but it might raise the # of $ on Daniel’s overall count. If you think Daniel is a stinky no-no, then use google to reach their pages instead. Do your own online research to make sure charities are legitimate before donating. Thank you.
