Go and buy Tim Snyder's "On Tyranny and On Ukraine" which is a much longer discussion about the current Russia-Ukraine War! Oh, sorry Pooty, I meant "special military operation blyat".
You can read it in a day. It's super fast. It's an instruction manual. Pull it out like a weapon, whenever you need it.
Makes me think of Sun Tzu's "The Art of War". It's a guidebook that's meant to be read 2 or 3 times for things to sink in and stay in long-term memory.
Written when Donald Trump was becoming the most powerful man on the planet, this is a timely and important reminder of how fascism became big in Europe. It basically lists everything the nazis did, and tells us how to respond effectively. If nazis ever do rise to power again, then this book will only be useful if we tie copies together and make a book-hammer out of it, then hit the nazis with the book-hammer. Until then, we should all follow the advice while it's followable.
